    Rail services linking London to Bristol and the West have been slammed as "poor" in a House of Lords debate.

    First Great Western promise extra peak time service to ease the woes of West Berkshire commuters

    LOCAL commuters will have to put up with cramped, overcrowded trains until at least April when First Great Western has pledged to add an extra peak time service.
    A controversial new rail timetable, which has been heavily criticised by passengers and politicians, was introduced last month by train operator First Great Western.
