Was anyone by chance on the 0916 from Weymouth to Waterloo 12.46 when 34006 took the train up from Bournemouth. Date was Sept 12 1966. The bit of interest is between Basingstoke and Woking when, with a load of 12 plus a 4 wheel van, Bude may have hit a fairly high speed.
Any info would be good - just a long shot.
