    I'm fairly sure that the Lostock Hall engine arrangements board is currently mounted on the wall at the top of the steps leading to Grosmont shed shop.

    I was a cleaner /passed cleaner/ fireman at LOSTOCK HALL 1963 TO 1968 iwas recently in the U.K. for the 40th reunion of the end of steam. my wife and i had a great time in leyland catching up to old my workmates from days gone by. i had asore back from all that coal we shovelled on that night in leyland. iwas saddened to here of the passing of so many of my mates who ijoined the job with. i had the oppurtunity of firing 5110 at svr also 5212 at nymr MAGIC ilive in western australia were i drive traions across the NULABOOR PLAINS into south australia a 48 hour shift we have 4drivers on board. a little different than firing a jinty on preston statio pilot.
