Very good run through Langho with 11 on, great sound and was running well on the fast through Balshaw Lane on the climb to Coppull. Leaf fall season not started in the North West yet ?

Lovely, especially the 'going away' clip. Your videos seldom fail to please as you usually keep the camera still and let the subject do the talking.

Excellent stuff. There are obviously different standards up north regarding the new autumn restrictions. The Jub should only have been allowed 9 coaches 'anywhere' after 15th September; and with the climb to Langho to tackle as as well...
Great to see the Jub going so well, despite having to do battle with the appalling railhead conditions caused by the autumn leaf fall!!!

Leaf fall is really a late October/November issue.

I suppose after all the meetings and publicity about regulating steam hauled trains they had to publish something.

Quite rightly so. What it does is shift responsibility to the TOC who knows what to do to avoid problems with NR. That doesn't stop them doing something different but, of course, if they do and there is a hiccup then the ballon goes up. Hardly surprising that WCRC in particular is being cautious.
