    Hello,

    very nice indeed. Strange though, that "Mallard" will have to travel by road and ferry until it has left the UK. No chance of pulling it thought the Channel tunnel? (Having second thoughts, it must then be declared fit to be hauled through France as well. Assuming it will be shipped directly to a German port it wil be a matter of DB only.)

    But there is little chance it will meet 05 002 since the loco was scrapped in 1960. 05 001 still exisits, though. Maybe it will get 05 002 number plates for the event.
