    Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex
    Mangapps Railway, at Burnham on Crouch, will be holding their annual August Gala on the 27th, 28th & 29th.

    Passenger services will be diesel hauled on the Saturday, with the addition of the resident steam loco on Sunday and Monday. Locos in service will be 31 430 "Sister Dora", o3s 081, 089 & 197, D2325, Army 226 and Elland No.1. There will also be opportunities to ride the increasingly popular and unique (on this side of the Atlantic) Canadian Pacific Railway "Caboose". Opening times are 11.30am to 5.00pm.
