Finally got around to uploading some of my Manx Steam images taken on my annual spring week visit to the Isle of Man. Taken week commencing 11th April, touch lucky with some excellent weather and three loco's in steam (No4, 10 & 12) during the week. Probably the best week's photography I've had on the Island in all the years I've been going.

(One national steam magazine has shown no interest in even considering in publishing of the submitted images to them - they want something different yet they ignore these. Clearly they are only interested in UK mainline material! Their lost I'm afraid! At least couple of other mags have shown interest, so that is something.)

A fine selection there and as you said the weather was excellent.

Certainly the best pics I have seen of the IOM in recent years. Unlike in many the trackwork appears a bit more weathered. Hoped to visit this year but couldn't but will certainly try next year.

Thank you for your kind comments, it is appreciated. Look forward to next year's return visit at the same time - no doubt it will rain all week then! :))
