I have added a new collection of Maunsell Schools Class in pre war SR 1939 & BR 1950's & 60's

Included in the 1939 selection are this photo taken just 6 days before war broke out in September 1939

Could this shot of 925 Cheltenham be the west end of Bournemouth Central? The high roof in the background looks like the central overall roof section, and the long curved platform and MPD are in the right place.

The shots of 930 & 706 at the east end of Bournemouth are wonderful!

To answer some of the unknown locations I would suggest that:-

Photo no.6 is the down end of Eastleigh station

Photo no.9 is Bournemouth loco shed (from Central station)

Photo no.12 is Bournemouth Central ( as Steamage suggests)

Photo no.16 is also Bournemouth Central.

    Hope this is of interest
