The first of this year's goods trains should run this Sunday (27th) in the "extra" path used by the Hampshire unit a couple of weeks ago. The plan had been for 31806 to work this train. I don't know if this is still the case, but I hope so. I've heard no news since her light engine run up the line Sunday before last.

Not quite what I was hoping for, but very acceptable. Indeed, this may be 73096's final turn on the goods, given that her ticket expires this summer. See (and hear!) her while you can...

Light engine for the goods leaves Ropley 1125. The goods itself leaves Alresford 1208 & 1405. The first run goes all the way to Alton, returning 1313. The scond run only goes to Medstead & Four Marks, returning at 1442. LE depart Alresford 1526.
