We have four 62-type racks of this equipment surplus to requirements.

The equipment works on 24 volts and was used via microwave radio systems,
we did some initial tests between 2 stations 4 miles apart using a 4 wire circuit
via an underground cable but later developments made it surplus to needs and
it was placed into store, never handling live traffic on the railway.

The original plan was to connect 3 stations using the carrier equipment and
keeping the 4th rack and equipment for maintenance spares

There are enough channel cards and combining cards for a 36 channel system
but it was thought 12 channels was the optimum number for successful operation.

The racks are approx 6ft high and we have a full set of manuals.

It will not be disposed of for nothing but any one with serious interest can contact:

    mailto:mid_hants.tele@btinternet.com
