I would love to attend an MHR steam gala but there a bit too close to the SVR's two main galas next year. #-o

Presumably does this mean 30053 won't now be visiting?

Yes I really hope it does still visit as I've not been able to get over to the Swanage so this could be the last opportunity to see 30053 in BR black. [-o< [-o<

What the whole railway, the police force, or just the E class tank?

It will be nice to see her back on MHR, this time in steam. She has been before but was not serviceable. IIRC she "worked"* in tandem with either N 31874 or U 31806 in the 1980's.

*she was pushed and pulled by the other loco.

Well partly I thought it might be true as I'm unable to get over to Swanage so there was some hope but I do accept what your saying.

I had an email from the MHR mailing list yesterday and the only confirmed loco's for the March Gala are the Met tank and the Beattie Well tank. The M7 is not mentioned.

Ok cheers for that news, I guess then the next time I'll see the loco will be on the Bluebell. Probably Branch Line w/e 2010 - M7 in SR green, E4 in SR green, U 1638 in SR green and S15 847 in SR green will be what the organisers will aim for.
