A longer than normal running day, with 2 locos in steam.

    Locos not finalised, but from 92212 / 45379 / 925.

45379 / 925 makes sense as they are both pre-war, but 92212 / 45379 also makes sense as they are both black...
Hurricane and Spitfire flypast on the Saturday.

I hope that there is plenty of room on two trains. Previous timetables for this event had three trains in operation and they were crammed. I guess the event is not as popular as it used to be.

A good day today with a lot of people in period clothing attending. Trains very full with 45379 and top secret war loco 92212 hauling the services. It was great to see and hear the Black Five back in action again and on top form with some great driving in the damp conditions.
The Spitfire and Hurricane display was very short this time which I guess is a result of the Shoreham incident.
