    The latest update on the Mid-Hants website depicts the repaired boiler of 31806 sitting in their superb new boiler shop facility, and also comments that the driving wheels from 73096 have been sent to the South Devon Railway for new tyres to be fitted "within the month", and that the new cylinder block for the same loco is now at a Leeds engineering firm for machining.
    I dont know about anyone else, but it looks to me as though the Mid-Hants has now really got its act together on motive power, and impresses with ongoing progress.Well done, credit where credit is due!
