    Evening All,

I've now had time to edit the fourth part of the video footage that I shot at the Mid-Hants Steam Gala and this is now on my YouTube channel; it features CITY OF WELLS departing from Alresford with the non-stop 'Pines Express' as part of the Somerset and Dorset Railway theme.

Further instalments from the Mid-Hants Gala are still in the queue to be edited...

    TTFN,

    Ron.

A glorious day in the sun yesterday (after fighting my way round the M25 in the morning) saw the lettering applied by Chris on both sides (touching up followed) and door fittings were also attached.

So it’s Friday again and this weeks YouTube video is now available to watch. This weeks video looks at the steam illuminations.

Thanks to all the crews and operating staff who manned the two days of charters this weekend. 30925 looks the bees knees facing London. Here is almost the last runpast of the weekend, a stunning Wanders Curve sunset.....

Hardly seems any time ago she returned to steam!

Will the other S15 drop into the roster to replace her?

More info about 30499 and 30506 can be found on the Urie locomotive website. Plus a form can be down load to join the Urie locomotive society. Why not join and receive a copy of Stove pipe magazine it’s great and you won’t regret joining.

A big thanks to all those involved over the weekend & behind the scenes to make the charter happen, we had nothing but praise for the staff & the railway from those who attened over the two days! :):):):)

Though myself & @Hampshire Unit were both knackered by the end of it......

Any road, a few pics that I've had the chance to process.

Hi Dave, looks like you found the sunshine on Sunday! Some cracking images there. Yes, a brilliant charter and huge thanks to Steve and yourself for setting this up and everyone at the railway who made the event possible.
    Cheers, Andy

I agree with him - that Gresley CCT behind the water carrier thingy looks great! I'd be all in favour of them hiring one in!
