    Organised by, and all proceeds to, the Middleton Railway Trust

    Open 10:00 to 17:00 each day (trains operating every 40 minutes 11:00 to 16:20), light refreshments available in the shop/café.

    Admire the models set amongst the real thing in our Engine House – you can also ride on a real full size steam train. The prototype for the Model Rail/Dapol sentinel - Y1 68153 - should be available for viewing in the 'waiting restoration' queue too. Engine on passenger service should be Manning Wardle 'Matthew Murray' possibly supported by MSC no.67

    We are expecting up to 14 layouts in a variety of scales: G, O, N, On30, 4mm/009 and OO. Layouts will include Andmidown Town (N gauge set in UK), FC Pampa y Fernandez (On30 set in South America), Derwent (O gauge set in North Eastern England), Jesmon River Railroad (N gauge set in the USA) as well as vintage Hornby O gauge and Tri-ang OO. We are also expecting a child friendly collection of models to enjoy so it’s truly an event for all the family! Traders will include DC Kits, Keith’s Model Railways and second hand stalls.
