I was wondering if anyone knows of any photos of the Midland 2606 Class "Belpaire" 4-4-0s in original condition as built by Johnson?
These are the locos which became Class 3 (later 3P in LMS days).
I've only ever seen photos with a Deeley smokebox/cab, and one or two profile photos which I think are in original condition, like this one: https://www.warwickshirerailways.com/lms/lnwrbns_pg1927.htm
Anyone know of any good photos?

I searched google images for Midland 2606 class and some nice pics came up, including a rather splendid model. I'm not sure which if any are original condition though.

There is a reasonable quality side-on official image in the Summer Supplement to the Locomag for 1901 of No 2607 with bogie tender. Not sure if this is the same type you refer to.

Hi, yes, I tried that. They all seem to be in Deeley condition or later, i.e. with the dogs around the smokebox door, and slightly longer cab roof.

    Thanks, I've found that one.
I'm hoping for a different angle, ideally.
