Well, with the impending closure of the Lackham Museum and Woodland Railway of which I am a volunteer, I need to find me another narrow gauge/miniature railway to devote my time to, any ideas?

Try the North Wilts SME who run a track at Coate Water nr Swindon & near the A419/M4 junction (making access pretty easy).

How about the narrow gauge line at Westonzoyland in Somerset - near Bridgwater. Very friendly set-up. Its an industrial line at the pumping station. The line looks the part but is non original. Plenty of items needing restoration. When I visited with the family in June, people at the site went out of their well to be helpful - starting up exhibits on request.

    Regards Devonbelle
