    COMMUTERS and other train travellers are facing major upheaval after rail bosses announced plans to close Basingstoke station for a 10-day period.

    The closure - between April 6 and 15, 2007 - will take place to allow signals to be replaced as part of a £130million scheme by Network Rail to improve signalling on railway lines across north Hampshire.
