Yes I am an active volunteer
I shunned other UK steam events this weekend just gone, and visited the super
Moors Valley Railway not far from Bournmouth. They have their own custom built
Garratt, but had there own Garratt Gathering over the weekend which saw there
own engine running with the late Brian Hollingsworths scale model of EAR 5928
Mount Kilimanjiro or a rare public outing and the Congo Garratt normally
resident at Eastleigh Lakeside Railway. It was a great day, with fantastic
weather, though the 59 still was no where near needing to work with full (at
times) 12 car trains, even on the steeper sections, where the Congo and home
engines were haveing to work very much harder.

My photographs can be found at http://www.chappers.fotopic.net/c1755580.html and
some video, especially that of the two red Garratts departing in parrallel can
    be found on http://www.youtube.com/user/odcuk

    Enjoy
