I've just spotted that one of the best guitarists and song-writers in Britain is performing at The Foxfield Railway on Friday 9th Jan. Steve Tilston is an excellent musician and a really nice bloke. His music is influenced by English and American folk and blues. I saw him in Oxford a few months ago and had a great evening. Thoroughly recommended! Steve is the guest of The Newcastle and Potteries Folk Song Club, which meets on the 2nd Friday of every month, 8pm for 8:30, at The Foxfield Railway, Caverswall Road, Blythe Bridge, ST11 9BG. Contact: Jason Hill 01782 813401 or see the club's web-site at http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/vmorley/potfolk.htm.

The beer's very good at Caverswall Rd, too, if I remember correctly! \:D/
