My attempt at photographing the Moon and Venus!

    My attempt to go out tonight and capture the Moon and Venus from my back garden. I dont have a telephoto so did my best!

    I did the same a few months ago when Saturn was out, point and shoots dont like dark

    But it can be done. These two were with a Cannon A720.
    The Moon & Venus pic is at 1 sec using the side of my house for support.
    The other one from earlier in the year is of Jupiter and Mercury (on the left). I'd never managed to see Mercury before. That was from a tripod.
    Makes a change from photographing trains!
