After much work on road access by the Worth Valley, the LNWR Coal tank will be attending the gala. It will join GWR 1501, GNR 1744, 1982 Ring Haw and No 22.

An LNWR loco on an LNWR line, very nice.

Hoping to visit either Saturday or Sunday... just wondering if anyone knows what way the locos are all facing?

No I do not currently volunteer
1054 and 1744 facing East, and 1501 and Ring Haw facing Weat. 22 is no longer attending due to a firebox issue.

I suspect there may be some turnings during the day as there is a coal tank and pannier double header later.

The turntable road normally has stock on it, but has been cleared so that also gives a good indication that it will see some use.

The BBLS stall will be near the turntable so come and say hi and maybe try your luck on our raffle or tombola. Also a chance to view progress during a shed tour.

Today's double header was bunker to bunker.

Been advised the coal tank will be turned in the morning to face west (towards Yarwell)
