    New arrival- Statfold Barn Railway

Statfold Barn Railway has just taken delivery of its latest narrow gauge locomotive.

It is Feldbahn 0-8-0T Henschel 14928 of 1917, DFB 998 (Berliner Brigade), Moremau Mill No. 3.

It arrived at Statfold on Friday the 6th of March from a private location in Yorkshire where it had been stored.

It is in need of full restoration and will be on display at the Statfold Enthusiast Day on March the 28th.

I have been reliably informed that the mill name is spelt "Marromeu"

    Sorry about that!

That is interesting as a second one of these locos is also on the market from the same lot which came back, it is in the latest issue of the NGRS magazine, I wonder if the current financal climate has something to do with it

    regards
