According to a post on wnxx on the same subject - "live" relates to live photographs i.e. photographs still on your fotopic sites and "cum" to all hits including where you have deleted pics.

However that logic breaks down if you at my site:

    Gallery Stats

    Live Hits (today): 57
    Live Hits (this week): 548
    Live Hits (this month): 2098
    Live Hits (this year): 2098
    Live Hits (all-time): 270602

    Cum. Hits (today): 57
    Cum. Hits (this week): 1409
    Cum. Hits (this month): 1542
    Cum. Hits (this year): 1542
    Cum. Hits (all-time): 281450

live should be lower than or equal to cum on all counts if you have ever deleted a pic.

It doesn't make sense in that how in the last week i have had 2000 more Cum. hits when i've never deleted anything!

There is a note at the bottom of the fotopic login page about new software and counters so perhaps we should give it a few days to settle and it might make sense.

    Cheers,

i under stand it now, with a new week with it working

    Live Hits (today): 84
    Live Hits (this week): 290
    Live Hits (this month): 2397
    Live Hits (this year): 2397
    Live Hits (all-time): 40416

    Cum. Hits (today): 84
    Cum. Hits (this week): 290
    Cum. Hits (this month): 1699
    Cum. Hits (this year): 1699
    Cum. Hits (all-time): 63162

    i havent deleted anything.
just if i was to delete a photo the Live Hits Would Go Down.
Cum = every photo ever, and all the hits the one got. (even if its deleted)
Live = All Current Photos with all the Hits on those ones showing up. (only showing hits on those photos still up).

as Alberta 45562 said, its started to settle in and i hope this helps understand.

No problems logging on - but i did take advantage of upgrading to premium at the half price offer plus 2 gig extra space which I was running out of. - added a few more features and looks quite different now with more thumbnails to view.

There are supposed to be more offers through feburary on sundays

Todays offer - This Sunday 8th February we'll be doing another Sunday Special: Double Quota. That means if you pay for 250MB of quota you'll be credited with 500MB. Remember it's only available for one day and you can click here to upgrade instantly using your Paypal account, credit or debit card.

Have a look, Have a vote & leave some comments ;)

    http://fotopic.net/gallery/premium/

Half price 12 month premium membership, 20 odd quid, if you subscribe it seems a good time to renew. \:D/

Just had a quick look at it and its seems a similar size to mine (counters ) although you have lots more collections - what size do you upload your pictures at ? - mine average about the 500kb size and ive plenty of room given the extra space given on upgrading

I notice that they offer quotas at half price on some Sundays as well. There offers don't seem to be publicised in advance and they dont seem to advertise these deals very well either. I only came across todays offer when I checked how long my present subscription had to run, there was no info on the home page.

Anyway, 5 hours or so to take advantage of the offer....
