Thats one date to check on my work rota. I wonder how Tornado will compare to 6233 or The Duke?

OMG it's on my birthday, AND it's picking up at Tamworth. Work? what's that? Just need to round up a tableful! Let's hope for a dry rail, the right crew and then hello blue ribbon!

Booked! Anyone else going? We'll be in posh class, slumped behind a table full of empties, a large picnic and the remains of my birthday cake :hungry:  :tea:

Notice the date is the Queen's actual birthday; cue for "Elizabethan" headboard ?

There appears to be some confusion. 60163 is running Crewe - Carlisle (VIA SHAP) on 21st April, 2010 - return via Settle. Tornado comes off at Hellifield. The train is to and from Euston. Book through Steam Dreams - it isn't full yet but don't hang about!

Just to clarify the confusion about 60163 in the north-west:
14th April, the Cumbrian Coast Express, out via Maryport, back via S&C. Sold out.
21st April, the Border Raider, out via Shap, back via S&C. Not yet sold out, it seems from UKSteam.
