    Superb shots all. The details section seems to suggest they were shot on 35mm. Is that indeed the case ?

    Thanks - no I use a Canon 1D Mark II (heritage digital camera!).

    Thanks, yes I thought it was odd when I read the details. It wasn't that camera type mentioned either as it happens.

    That's odd, it's usually consistent in identifying what camera I use - Flickr does this automatically rather than by me manually inputting the data. You can also see the exposure settings that I use too if you click on the 'more info' tab.

    Many thanks to Neil and Steve and everyone who came last night , plus Matt, Tom, Jamie and Gary who added the "human" interest in the shots and all on the SVR who helped make the event happen


    This was the first time such a shoot has been attempted at a gala and went very well in the eye's of the railway as well as adding a nice donation towards the gala costs
