I believe that the Strathspey Railway's former Weymss Private Railway locomotive, No,17, left for a short-term visit to the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway yesterday. The locomotive is expected to be at Bo'ness until the end of 2010.

No.17 piloted No.246 'Morayshire' on some services today. Apparently she ran well over SRPS metals and was received in typical style.

Nope, and she failed the other day with quite a series break in a flange so she isn't running at the moment. Hopefully the repair can be done at Bo'ness but it's a tricky one. I'm no engineer but I've been told that a flange between a cylinder and the steam pipe has cracked/broken.
