Very few words today. 60163 is proving a real crowd puller, 2400 visitors yesterday alone! We shunted the locos into position tonight ready for steam raising and cleaning tomorrow and here are a couple of pictures to tempt you into visiting the event this weekend, shame the sun wasn't out...

Blog update to come, but we're all exhausted - it was amazing, 21,100 visitors over the three days. Plus a firing turn for yours truly on the big green beast yesterday. Over 30,000 visitors in total now since the loco arrived just over a week ago. Highlights included two photo shoots and the nose-to-nose of Furness 20 and 60163 - the oldest steamable with the newest steamable standard gauge locos. Give me a couple of days... Thanks for asking!
