Just got back from a week in Norfolk during whcih I made my first visit to the Poppy Line as well as to the Mid-Norfolk Railway (for the running-in of KEII).

I was wondering if someone would be able to fill in a few gaps of NNR diesels, to wit:

    - black 03 at Sheringham
    - blue 03 at Holt
    - 08 at Weybourne (not D3940)
    - blue 25 at Weybourne
    - 37 in Weybourne shed (not D6737).

I'd asked to be shown around Weybourne shed but this wasn't possible as they were carrying out welding (which is fair enough).

Trip highlights - I arrived in Sheringham on 9th July, hence was able to see the J15 on the (sold out) dining special, and hence got wind of the special that was using the new BR - NNR connection that same night, meaning I was on the spot at midnight to see 47851 and 47580 make the crossing.
Also, Weybourne is gorgeous - I went for a quick walk towards Sheringham Park between trains and, when the sun's out and skylarks and yellowhammers are singing away, you couldn't ask for a more pleasant spot.
So, if anyone is wondering if it's worth the trip due to the distance involved in getting there (I speak as one who took 5 hours on a train from Liverpool), then the answer is yes!
