The NNR have announced details of their Level Crossing Opening celebrations.

At approximately 14.15 on 11th March 2010, Britannia Class 70013 Oliver Cromwell will bring the first passenger train over the level crossing for 46 years, in the form of the Railway Touring Company's 'Broadsman' charter. The opening ceremony will be performed by Pete Waterman OBE. No public services are due to operate on the NNR that day, although the N2 and N7 are due to haul the Quad-Art set on a private special in order to carry the VIP guests around. The charter is expected to depart Holt at around 15.40 and then leave Sheringham for London at 16.10.

There will be restricted access at Sheringham station, whilst Holt station will be closed to the public completely. Weybourne station will be open for the public to view 'The Broadsman' pass, there will be a £1 platform ticket. Lineside passes are available for NNR property.

Details are available on the NNR website:
