    Hi all,
RYTC running these tours again with a new set running through manchester.
    Scheduled locomotive pool:
    6201 princess elizabeth
    46233 Duchess of Sutherland
    45305
    70013 oliver cromwell.
Thinking of doing one of the tours getting on at stockport working out at about £134 for both myself and my Dad.
    Bit of info needed though:
Does the stock get turned at holyhead or will the train be at the Standard class side for the return?
Also, only been to Anglesey once for about an hour and then went around a few more parts of Wales. Never got as far as Holyhead, is it nice around there?
    Any information will be nice!
    Thanks
    Matt

    Hi Matt,
Interesting that one as it's going via Piccadilly, when was the last steam tour through Oxford Road?
Nowhere to turn stock at Holyhead, so guaranteed front going one way, Holyhead itself is not very inspiring, and if it's Sunday even worse, so the only reason to go there is for the train trip there and back.....
Note it is almost certain there will be a diesel on the back all day. It's the only way the train can visit Llandudno.

    Thanks for the info Ralph,
Llandudno seems like a nice place to visit, have a few relatives that come from there so would be nice to visit there again (last time was when I was about 3)
And believe me, after the carlisle trip on the 28th, you will never find me bad mouth a diesel on the back!
RYTC have offered manchester piccadilly a few times haven't they? it has always been changed at the last minute to victoria hasn't it? We will see nearer the time!
    Thanks for the info Ralph!

We did have an A4 to the buffers at Piccadilly last year, but it's platform 13/14 and the high level bit past the Hacienda which should make for an interesting sight.

Ahh yeah, I remember 60019 into piccadilly, that was a good day! 70013 is also expected at the buffers as well in june. I was talking about the through road at the end of the station as I believe that HF tours has the caledonian tornado going through there at first until it got changed and I'm sure it's happened before.
Thanks for the info again Ralph!
