My first day out of the year was on a Russ Hillier organised photo charter to the little known Northamptonshire Ironstone Railway Trust in Northampton. Our loco was visiting Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST No.2088. Thanks to those who made the day possible.
Definitely something different to start the year.
My photos can be seen here.

    Hello Paul
Fantastic pictures and thanks for coming over. Can be a bit daunting when organising these days when the site has not had any photo charters before. Was a great way to cap off the loco's 5 year overhaul too and launch her properly in to service. The pictures are just fantastic and am veryproud ofthe teams achievements that day!!

    p.s. I
    look pretty rough there!!

Erm, you did have a photo charter back in the late 1990s. Yvonne, Sir Vincent and Blue Circle (which failed before it went anywhere). Great fun though and I'm glad to see your railway back on the map.

Yes they did I was referring to me as I had not been on the footplate during a charter before! Also I had never organised a loco for one either!! Was a challenge that's for sure but did enjoy it! Now for Rutland's!!

If anyone would like to attend No.2088's last steaming at Hunsbury please pm me. This may also be the last opportunity for a while to see steam at Hunsbury.
