    I went to the first day of the NYMR Diesel gala on Thursday, great day out, and with it being a Thursday no problem getting a seat, even on the Deltic service

    Visiting locos were 55009 Alycidon, 50021 Rodney, 33202 Dennis G. Robinson, 37688 Great Rocks (which arrived with Vac brake damaged/not working) and late replacement 37418 An Comunn Gaidhealach

    Home locos used on Thursday were 47077 North Star, 37264 & 31466

    On view in Grosmont shed yard were 20007,20205, D7628,D5061 & 31128
