    Hi All

I understand those links don't work for some reason.

Go to the NYMR Diesel website http://www.nymrdiesel.co.uk/

Click on timetable on the left hand menu.

Then a calendar will appear, click each date of the gala (18th, 19th, 20th) and
a timetable with locos appears in a new window for each day.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards

Convoy of guest locos arrived yesterday - I missed at Northallerton as running over an hour early and I was still returning from Newcastle when they went through!

Looks like a good weekend. Don't forget Friday sees the return of the "Shunter Shuttle" at Pickering with D2207 and 08 556.

I popped over today purely to get a couple of shots of "Royal Scots Grey" which I've posted in the "Photography" forum.

However while I was there I took some shots of the other oil burners, just don't ask me what they are.

    Problem on Saturday

Great day Saturday after the fog and gloom lifted. Thanks to all involved in the organisation.
What happened with the lunch time south bound trip with the Western, we photoraphed her at Thomasson Foss going south, then 20 minutes latter she appeared again going back to Grosmont, having run round the train at Goathland. The rumour mill had it as a points failure at Pickering, but all other trains ran all right afterwards, just the northbounds were one set/train out of sequence. Harold.

Yes, the points from the main line to Long Siding would not return to normal after we had "nipped" in there to couple two coaches together while the DMU came in. This lead to the loss of a departure from Pickering - the 12:20 running as the 13:20. The train that should have been passed at Levisham stayed there for an hour (very good business was done by the tea hut!) and the one at Goathland ran round and returned to Grosmont.

The points were hand cranked across, S & T got the signals working (I believe the problem was caused by rotent attack on the power cables!) and services got running again.
