    Confirmed information from the NYMR Website for the NYMR Diesel Gala in September 2013:

    Visitors:

    • Class 31 31128 ‘Charbdylis’
    • Class 42 Warship D821 ‘Greyhound’
    • Class 52 Western D1062 ‘Western Courier’
    Both Hydraulics will be celebrating this year with us and is D821’s 1st Return since 1991 and D1062’s 1st ever visit to the Moors.

    D1062 - Celebrates its 50th Birthday.

    D821 - 40 years in preservation returning to the line it first ran on.

    Friday,Saturday and Sunday will be services Pickering to Whitby Town


    Esk Valley services to Battersby will be different this year as Northern Rail now Run trains on Sunday


    It is hoped to repeat the Pie and Pea service on Friday night and Saturday Night services
