    No I do not currently volunteer
    NYMR have an LNER Weekend Event from 4th to 6th October 2013, consisting of A1 60163 "Tornado", A4 60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley", Q6 63395 and B1 61264.

    Bit random doing that the weekend after the Autumn Steam Gala. Would have thought that they would have left a bigger gap.

    I would have to assume the same. Still no Gala announcement yet but it does seem a bit 'different'. I know Tornado is a crowd puller but how many people would pay event rates two weeks in a row at the same railway with predominently the same engines?

    60163 is not available for the NYMR's ASG, from what I've heard, so presumably this extra weekend has been added as having more of a theme than the ASG, whch is more likely to feature anything that is available.
