The 3 locos in use are 825, 45212 and 76079. Exactly how they work is complicated!

If the Santa timetable is running as planned, one loco works Grosmont Santas, a 2nd (actually first off shed) works Light Engine to Pickering, the first two Santas and then brings back the diner. The 3rd loco works the diner out over and then does the two remaining Santas at Pickering before returning Light Engine from Pickering.

However - the Diner is working off Pickering this weekend due to water supply problems for the kitchens at Grosmont. What seemed to happen last week is that two locos worked light to Pickering, one returned with the diner and then swapped with the Grosmont Santa loco. Last week, I think 45212 did the first couple of Santas at pickering then brought the diner back, 76079 replaced it on Picking Santas, 825 did the first couple of Grosmont Santas and the took the diner back - that seems to be what is happening here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIOk8R04op0 (Acknowledgement to Ian H for this excellent video).

Can't tell you what will be doing what - sorry!
