    We had a great day riding up and down the full line. Bit of a mixture from stations and onboard the trains. A well worth trip!

    An interesting seletion there Robert, and thank you. As a member of the Moors we try and do our best with such events. What's more and as an "aside" I'll wager few if any noticed that the Great Marquess has had it's tender tank fitted with an upwards extension, which I'm lead to believe gives it an added 500 +/- gallons of water. Most useful in this modern age with few watering holes for a steamer, especially a little engine like the Marquess.

    Hadn't noticed to be honest. Funny that really, you can enlarge a tender tank and people can be clueless - change a number and everyone's on the ball. It really was a great weekend, I had 3 friends in tow (non of them massive steam fans - they could tolerate it, but they weren't 'fans') and they all said they'd come again.
