I went to the NYMR yesterday 26th July, diesel service between Pickering and Grosmont
and steam between Grosmont and Whitby, when steam banned on main line
Hiding away in Pickering carriage shed was B1 1264
3 steam locos were in steam
76079 doing the Whitby shuttles, 63395 on a test run from Grosmont to Goathland and 80136 having work done on it on Grosmont shed
2 diesels doing the Pickering-Grosmont return runs 47077 North Star and 37264
63395 on a test run between Grosmont and Goathland
