I dont know where its going but in view of it being turned yesterday and footplate crew comments this morning, I'm GUESSING that it could be on a test run to MAYBE go to the fort on sunday.

I believe that it's only to Hellifield and back.. Should be there now and back in Carnforth by 13.30.

For the record, 45231 is taking the Jacobite ECS from Carnforth to Fort William today (Thurs 13th). Has already reached the West Highland line.

    Cheers

Interesting! Last I heard, the ECS was to be diesel-hauled, with 45407 going to FW light some time after Saturday's trip to Ayr. It's good news if 45231 is fit after all.
