    nice picture. i remember this loco spluttering around derby/toton in the late 70s/early 80. the class 24s often get overlooked or forgotten about. as my i.d. suggests i'm a fan of the baby sulzers. thanks!

    Many thanks for those. My parents house overlooks Toton depot and I have an uncle that used to work there. I remember one evening when I was about 10 or 11 he took me over the depot to see 97201(24061) and the last 3 class 44s (4,7 and 8). I got to look in the cab of the 24. I didnt appreciate it at the time but the memory has stuck with me since.
