Pathfinder Railtours ran their final railtour today (20/12/25) having started their programme in 1973. Having accepted the changes over many years the current environment has led the company to cease operations with a Farewell Tour from Salisbury to Manchester. From Manchester an add-on tour of a circuit encompassing Bolton; Wigan; Farington Curve; Blackburn; Copy Pit; Todmorden; Rochdale and return to Manchester Victoria gave Class 52 D1015 Western Champion some rare mileage to cover; shown here is the "Western" joining the Preston - Blackburn line after a 45 minute stop for scheduling reasons.
