P'boro steam

    According to the UK steam rail tours website, we have no steam workings through Peterborough until mid February. One of the staff at P'boro' station told my wife "Royal Scot" will bwe working through before then.
    At work this morning a colleague mentioned she had heard on our local radio of a steam working here this weekend.
    Anyone have any gen on this subject please?

    No steam on the mainline this weekend through Peterborough, but there will be a steam train running to Peterborough all day on Sunday at the Nene Valley Railway in the form of black 5 45377 as im firing it!! This could have been what your colleague heard if the railway was advertising the black 5s only passenger turn this month...
