    The first photo charter on the Valley took place yesterday although not in the format we have been used to. The Railway suggested that travelling by road and no access to the lineside was something a lot of railways were now doing. That's not true, I've chased by road sometimes when a freight train has been involved and I understand that we couldn't travel in the coaches but I've never been denied access to the lineside.
    Having said that it was very well organised and went a lot better than I expected. Thanks to the organisers, the railway and the Kirton Family who allowed four mini buses full of gricers to turn up at their farm.
