As you will have probably heard there is a vast amount of track for sale up in Scotland. The PQR is now trying to raise £10,000 to purchase enough rail to reach the Quarry (that's phase 2). To acquire this cheap rail would mean a cheaper building cost of phase two and time scales slashed in half. We aim to have the next 700 ft of track in by the end of the year (hopefully by September).
If you can help in anyway please visit our just giving page https://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/pqr
There are "Thank you's" for set amounts of donations

CAN YOU SPONSOR A PANEL OF TRACK for £40? Just 176 panels of track are needed to reach our destination.

Any persons donating £100 or more are invited to ride on the first train under the bridge plus a footplate ride on the current line and free Penrhyn Railway Supporters membership for a year.

Any persons donating £500 or more will receive the above plus a footplate ride on the new track.

And persons donating £1000 and over will receive all of the above plus free life membership of the PRS and a day's driving experience on the new line.
