A fair number of these look like pure Sharp Stewart designs as supplied to the Cambrian Railways.

Pretty much exactly as supplied to the Cambrian (or it's predecessors) although it appears to have received a flush fitting, as opposed to a raised, firebox.

Kitsons were another who supplied very similar machinery to assorted railways (Taff Vale and L&Y come to mind)

Photo 4 is a Sharp Stewart standard 0-6-0, of which the Furness ended up with quite a large stock, some making it into LMS ownership. As shown in the picture, I believe the loco was built in 1866 and reboilered in 1898, scrapped 1925.

Photo 5 is the same class, but as rebuilt with a later boiler; that loco was I believe originally built in 1875. (Built 1875, rebuilt 1911, scrapped 1926)

The London Chatham and Dover Railway had two locos of the same type (named "Huz" and "Buz"); in fact, their locos came from a batch of six built "on spec" by Sharp Stewart during. recession as a way of keeping their workforce employed; of which two went to the LCDR; two to the Furness Railway and two to the Taff Vale. Others of the same type ended up on the LNWR, L&YR, Cambrian and maybe elsewhere as well.
