    Photo Charter on the Bodmin & Wenford with GWR 42xx 2-8-0T 4247. I thought it might be of interest that Classic Traction are running a photo charter with 4247 on the Bodmin & Wenford in March. Recreating a 1950s mixed china clay goods (4247 was based at St Blazey 1953 - 57), 4247 will haul around 12 wagons on this challenging route with 1 in 37 gradients! Restricted to 22 - 25 places, cost is therefore slightly higher at £65pp. Further details can be found on their website at: www.classictractioncollection.weebly.com

    With reference to the Photo-Charter on the Bodmin & Wenford, this has now been amended to FRIDAY 16th MARCH. There are still some places available on the photo-charter with 4247.
