I'll be taking a wee break from the excellent SVR spring gala to a grab a shot of Lizzie climbing the bank with the two Panniers on March 24th. I'm aware of the foot crossing location, but I expect that will be heaving a nd I dont want to get there two hours before for a spot so where else is there a reasonable lineside shot? I've had a look at google maps and I can't say it looks promising ...

    Cheers

an afternoon shot if the sun is out is challenging at the least , the west side being fairly overgrown and parking (generally) somewhat limited

There is a shot at Pikes pool which was getting overgrown when the two halls went up , let alone when lizzie went up last

East side has a good selection of open spaces , just hope the sun doesn't shine !!
