Here are two albums taken during recent visits.

The Norwegian photos were all taken at the railway museum, Hamar, and show three locos, two carriages - and a wheel lathe built in 1851.

One of the locos is a Robert Stephenson 2-4-0 built in 1861. Amazingly, the museum has another but it was inaccessible. The other locos are a 3ft 6 inch gauge Beyer Peacock 2-4-0 built in 1870 and very similar to those supplied to the Isle of Man. Finally there is a Manning Wardle 0-4-0ST built in 1875.

One of the carriages is a royal coach built in 1862 in Birmingham by Wright & Sons. The other was built in 1867 in Manchester by Ashbury's.

Most of the Finnish photos were taken in the railway museum at Hyvinkaa. It is home to a Beyer Peacock 0-4-2ST built in 1868, and an 0-6-0 built in 1869 by Neilson.

I have also included two shots of former Welshpool & Llanfair 2-6-2T Orion at work on the Jokioisten Railway in south west Finland. The railway also has a coach with a Leeds Forge frame.
