Police confirm deaths of two men after train strikes car - Grimsby, Lincolnshire

    British Transport Police (BTP) can confirm that two men have died after the car they were travelling in was struck by a train at Great Coates Automatic Half Barrier level crossing on Cocks Lane, Grimsby, Lincolnshire on Tuesday, 9 April.

    Humberside Police officers and medics from East Midlands Ambulance Service also attended the incident, which was reported to BTP at 7.39pm. The train involved was the 7.26pm TransPennine Express service from Cleethorpes to Scunthorpe.
